Digital photography has indeed made photography much easier
as we are now able to see what we are clicking then and there and even delete
it if we do not like it. Even after such a convenient way to click photographs
of whatever we like, it is a fact that it may still not be possible to take the
best photograph at all times. This is where the need for a digital photo
editing software comes in to play. If not anything else, you will always find
that your photographs can be improved somewhat with the help from one of these
software.
“Irfan view” is a freeware and you can especially use it to
group process. Graphical enhancements, cropping and many other cool features
are available on the Irfan View and you can download it from the internet
itself.
Although not as advanced as some of the other software out
there, but the “PhotoFilter” is not that bad either with its own user
interface, and specialized buttons, each dedicated to an individual purpose of
adjusting your photo and also adding some effects to it.
“Image Force” is another freeware and it may help you to
transfer your images from the digital cameras and scanners to your computer. It
is free but it can be of great use even when you need to customize or even
print a copy of our favorite digital photograph.
If you are into serious photography and you want a more
complex and feature rich software, give the free version of the “VCW Photo
Editor” a try. You may need to pay though if you want to have more options than
what is given in the free version. Text Tool, gradients, color replacement, any
scale editing, advanced special effects and everything else, they are all here
in “VCW Photo Editor”
However, if you are more interested in a software that is
free, easy to use and appeals to the more casual user, try the “Kodak
EasyShare”. It offers basic editing functions and can even help you print your
photos.
The “Picture Shark” is a really useful tool, you can engrave
words of your choice right on the photos, create actual watermarks on your
picture and you can edge out your picture from the stamp. It supports all image
formats and uses the wizard user interface. This is a very important tool to
have, whether you are an amateur or a professional and the best part is that it
is a freeware!
“ADG Panorama”, as its name suggests, it is a specialist at
uploading, modifying and publishing panoramic images. You can create a
panoramic image of 360ş and publish it on the internet right then.
The photo editor called “Picasa” is a very popular editor
from Google. This has a very advanced recognition and sorting technique which
will sort all the photos on your computer with date and set them into the right
albums. Apart from this feature, Picasa will also let you share, attach and
send photos with the help of email. If you are into blogging, then you can also
use this software to upload images onto your blog. The powerful but free photo
editor will also let you enhance and edit your photos to your liking.
